What is this?
Our discussion will be on allergy and asthma care for adults and how different treatments can help relieve eczema, hay fever, or food allergies and sensitivities.
In 2018, Dr. Nikhila Schroeder and her husband James Schroeder moved their family to Charlotte, North Carolina to open Allergenuity Health Associates, a direct-care allergy clinic, to bring high-quality, scientific, comprehensive sublingual immunotherapy treatment regimens and a health care model that supports a strong patient-doctor relationship (including patients having direct access to their allergist) to the region.
Dr. Schroeder is board certified in both Allergy & Immunology (adult and pediatric) and Pediatrics. She graduated from MIT where she obtained both a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Engineering degree in electrical engineering and computer science with concentrations in biomedical engineering and music. She went on to medical school and earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in 2009. She then completed her Pediatrics Residency training program and Allergy/Immunology Fellowship training program both at the University of Virginia.
James is a Marine Corps veteran that served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom as well as a former police officer. In 2014, James graduated from the University of Virginia with a BS in Commerce with a concentration in accounting and information technology. He worked for a digital marketing company before opening his own digital marketing company in 2016.
